Bay Trail

Bay Trail
The Bay Trail is a planned 500-mile hiking, biking and recreational path encircling the San Francisco Bay. The path already has 230 miles of completed pathways at this time. The trail network consists of a continuous main path, plus connecting routes to points of interest and to inland commercial and residential areas. The trail alignment is within two miles of many Caltrain, BART, VTA, Muni Metro, and ACE rail stations, as well as hundreds of bus stops and 10 Bay Area ferry terminals. A new set of detailed, full-color Bay Trail maps is available from the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG). Call 510.464.7900 or visit www.baytrail.org
